Dread Zeppelin

has a pretty good Christmas album. Gary Hoey does as well.

The Jethro Tull Christmas Album

If I only listen to one Christmas album all year, it's usually this one.

Father Christmas

The BEST Rock n roll Christmas song EVERRRR!!!! I'll still be listening to it into March.
—Guest Sarah

The Vandals

They created one of the best Christmas albums in my opinion, Oi! To The World which such classics as "A Gun For Christmas" or "Thanks For Nothing" or even "I Don't Believe In Santa Claus".

The Greedies-Merry Jingle

Late great Phil Lynnott + lads from Lizzy & a couple of pistols
—Guest Rocky Bulge

Hollywood Undead

I love "Christmas in Hollywood" They are not some "snot-nosed" rock group! They sing about real life experiances. But christmas in Hollywood was probably their only "fake" song. For the people who want to have real fun on Christmas, this is the way to go.

"Father Christmas'!

This is SUCH a fun track by the Kinks that it can be played all-year round!

Evergreen - Switchfoot

Great Christmas rock song. A bit depressing, but isn't that what the holidays are for?
—Guest BryGuy21

"Cold White Christmas"

I don't know if it counts as "rock," but "Cold White Christmas" by the indie pop group Casiotone for the Painfully Alone is perfect for this time of year. It's about a girl in her early 20's spending her first Christmas away from her family.

No Fairytale??

Any list without the greatest Christmas song ever is bogus. Fairytale of New York by the Pogues is by far the greatest Christmas rock song ever.

Jimmy Eat World - "Last Christmas"

I always have to hear their version of "Last Christmas" around the holidays to make it complete.
