Exactly where are the Strokes?
- You're certainly missing them here. The Strokes had one of the best albums (if not THE best) of the decade. The song that definitely defines the Strokes' entrance into the rock music industry is "Last Nite", which I think should be on this list.

Bold, Odd & WTF picks good onya matey
- You can kind of keep 10 of your original picks (bloody hard job to seperate the best) Keep; Linkin Park, Audioslave, Foo Fighters, Nirvana, Alice in Chains, Seether, Velvet Revolver, Buckcherry and I have a dark hidden secret ~ I like Nickelback & that song, but White Stripes an odd choice of song so many to choose from. To replace the honorable songs you chose; Shinedown - Save Me, Wolfmother - Joker & the Thief, Avenged Sevenfold - Seize the Day, Black Label Society - Concrete Jungle, The Strokes - Hard to Explain, Godsmack - Shinedown, Three Days Grace - Animal I've Become, Rise Against - Re-Education, PJ Harvey - This Is Love & Clutch - The Incomparable Mr. Flannery and just for fun 1 more Coheed and Cambria - Welcome Home. Cheers for making me look up previously unfamiliar artists.

- The best song would be "Blinded in chains" and "Seize the day by Avenged Sevenfold.

Vertigo - Great Pick
- Fun list - "Vertigo" is my favorite song, period. From my favorite band, period. I love the Foo Fighters too, but my favorite song of theirs is "The Pretender." "Echoes, Silence, Patience & Grace" is a CD I will never get tired of.

- I'm sorry, but I think "Sex on Fire" is a much more appropriate song for this list if it includes Kings of Leon. Same goes for beautiful day with U2

I honestly did a double take
- On a list such as this, with big, well known bands such as these it's really rad that you include Sleater-Kinney. Especially with that song. Then to give the #1 spot to the Hold Steady, amazing.
