The Top 10 of this week's Billboard Rock Songs chart is the same as last week's, except some tracks are moving up and some are moving down. More interestingly, a couple songs that seemed to be losing steam have suddenly been rejuvenated. But the No. 1 tune remains unchanged.
10. Phoenix - "Lisztomania"
Dropping one spot this week, the French band Phoenix are easily the longest-running entry in our Top 10. "Lisztomania" debuted on the Rock Songs chart 41 weeks ago.
9. My Darkest Days Featuring Zakk Wylde - "Porn Star Dancing"
My Darkest Days entered the Top 10 last week, and this week "Porn Star Dancing" rises one place to No. 9. They'll be on the road supporting Hinder until the end of the year.
8. Three Days Grace - "World So Cold"
Three Days Grace gain no ground this week, hanging tough at No. 8. "World So Cold" is the third single to chart off the band's Life Starts Now.
7. Godsmack - "Love-Hate-Sex-Pain"
After peaking at No. 5 two weeks ago, "Love-Hate-Sex-Pain" has been slipping ever since. Godsmack's latest single from The Oracle drops one spot this week.
6. Linkin Park - "Waiting for the End"
A Thousand Suns has been one of the biggest rock albums of the year, and the album's second single, "Waiting for the End," rises one place this week on our chart. Linkin Park have yet to reveal any U.S. concert plans, but you'd have to assume they'll be touring the States sometime next year.
5. Neon Trees - "Animal"
Neon Trees continue to tumble down the chart. After "Animal" got as high as No. 2, the Habits single falls two more spots this week to land at No. 5.
4. Kings of Leon - "Radioactive"
Are Kings of Leon coming or going? "Radioactive" seemed to have been winded a few weeks ago, but now it's caught its second wind, moving up to No. 4.
3. Mumford & Sons - "Little Lion Man"
Speaking of songs that have regained their mojo, "Little Lion Man" had been moving down the chart but reversed course last week. Now the Mumford & Sons single sits at No. 3, a new peak for the U.K. band.
2. The Black Keys - "Tighten Up"
For the third straight week, the Black Keys get the silver medal on our chart as "Tighten Up" holds tight to No. 2. The single from the band's Brothers is also one of the year's best rock songs.
1. Stone Sour - "Say You'll Haunt Me"
Eight weeks. That's how long "Say You'll Haunt Me," the lead single from Stone Sour's Audio Secrecy, has been No. 1. It's an impressive achievement, but it's still not the longest run at the top of the Billboard Rock Songs chart: Linkin Park's "New Divide" and Three Days Grace's "Break" both held on to No. 1 for 12 weeks.
