10. Jimmy Eat World - "My Best Theory"
Back in September, this single from the pop-rock outfit Jimmy Eat World got has high as No. 9. But "My Best Theory" is back for more, reemerging in the Top 10 and landing at No. 10.
9. Three Days Grace - "World So Cold"
The Canadian quartet Three Days Grace stumble a bit this week, dropping a notch to No. 9. Their latest album, Life Starts Now, is their first not to go at least gold.
8. My Darkest Days Featuring Zakk Wylde - "Porn Star Dancing"
My Darkest Days continue to make slow but steady progress up the Rock Songs chart. "Porn Star Dancing," which includes some background vocals by Nickelback's Chad Kroeger, moves up one more spot this week to No. 8.
7. Godsmack - "Love-Hate-Sex-Pain"
"Love-Hate-Sex-Pain" got as high as No. 5 earlier this month, but for the second straight week it remains lodged at No. 7. Godsmack frontman Sully Erna recently put out a solo record, Avalon.
6. Linkin Park - "Waiting for the End"
Linkin Park's latest single holds tight at No. 6 for a second straight week. Just this week, the sextet announced plans for a North American tour in 2011.
5. Kings of Leon - "Radioactive"
Kings of Leon peaked at No. 3 with the first single off their new album, Come Around Sundown. Since then, "Radioactive" has done a bit of a back-and-forth on the chart, bouncing around from spot to spot. This week, it falls a place to No. 5.
4. Neon Trees - "Animal"
The news of Neon Trees' imminent departure from our chart was premature. After "Animal" had started to tumble, this week the single corrects its course and rises one spot. There might be some life left in this Utah band.
3. Mumford & Sons - "Little Lion Man"
Mumford & Sons are at No. 3 for a second straight week. The breakthrough single from the folk-rock group's Little Lion Man has never gotten higher on the Rock Songs chart, but some activity above them may change that.
2. Stone Sour - "Say You'll Haunt Me"
After eight weeks at the top, "Say You'll Haunt Me" finally falls from No. 1. The lead single from Audio Secrecy has to be one of 2010's most popular tracks -- it's certainly one of the year's best songs.
1. The Black Keys - "Tighten Up"
Patience is a virtue, and it finally paid off for the Black Keys. After three weeks at No. 2, "Tighten Up" finally grabs the big prize. The Ohio duo now have the No. 1 song on both the Rock and Alternative charts.
