This week's Billboard Rock Songs chart is sure to be a big hit with people who don't do well with change: Eight of the Top 10 songs are in the exact same spot as they were last week. The other two are new entries on our chart.
10. Sick Puppies - "Riptide"
For a second straight week, "Riptide" resides at No. 10. Sick Puppies will be playing Rock on the Range on May 21.
9. Foster the People - "Pumped Up Kicks"
One of this week's two debuts comes from Foster the People, a new Los Angeles band. The group's full-length debut, Torches, dropped this month.
8. Death Cab for Cutie - "You Are a Tourist"
Our highest debut belongs to Seattle indie-rock veterans Death Cab for Cutie. "You Are a Tourist" comes from their brand new record, Codes and Keys, which will arrive in stores May 31.
7. Incubus - "Adolescents"
Incubus are stuck at No. 7 for a third straight week with "Adolescents." The band will be playing the Hurricane Festival and Southside Festival in Germany in June.
6. Cage the Elephant - "Shake Me Down"
From here on out, this week's chart is a carbon copy of last week's. For a second week in a row, Cage the Elephant sit at No. 6 with "Shake Me Down."
5. The Black Keys - "Howlin' for You"
The Black Keys remain at No. 5 for a second week. I recently picked "Howlin' for You" as one of 2011's best rock songs.
4. Mumford & Sons - "The Cave"
"The Cave" peaked at No. 2, but for a third straight week the Mumford & Sons track sits at No. 4. The song was recently certified gold and the band's debut album, Sigh No More, was certified platinum.
3. Seether - "Country Song"
Seether hold on to No. 3 for a second straight week. "Country Song" is the first single from the band's new album, Holding Onto Strings Better Left to Fray.
2. Rise Against - "Help Is on the Way"
"Help Is on the Way" jumped up one place last week to No. 2, but Rise Against can't duplicate that feat this week: They remain in second position.
1. Foo Fighters - "Rope"
"Rope" is the No. 1 song for the 11th week in a row. That's very impressive, especially considering that only two bands have ever held on to the top spot longer, and that was for 12 weeks: Linkin Park and Three Days Grace. That will give Foo Fighters something to shoot for next week.
