On this week's Billboard Rock Songs chart, Foo Fighters try to make it three weeks in a row at No. 1. Also, we say goodbye to Alter Bridge, whose "Isolation" falls out of the Top 10.
10. Avenged Sevenfold - "Welcome to the Family"
Avenged Sevenfold got as high as No. 8 with "Welcome to the Family," but this week they slip two notches to No. 10. The band's most recent album, Nightmare, was their first to go to No. 1.
9. Neon Trees - "Animal"
After leaving the Top 10 about a month ago, "Animal" reemerges this week, landing at No. 9. Not surprisingly, this Neon Trees track is the oldest single in our countdown, first hitting radio an amazing 48 weeks ago.
8. Mumford & Sons - "Little Lion Man"
Another song showing chart longevity, "Little Lion Man" moves up a spot this week. (The song debuted 40 weeks ago.) Mumford & Sons have said they'll be working on their follow-up to 2009's Sigh No More this year.
7. Shinedown - "Diamond Eyes (Boom-Lay Boom-Lay Boom)"
From here on out, this week's chart is one big case of deja vu. Starting us off, "Diamond Eyes" stays at No. 7 for a fourth straight week. Shinedown are supposedly working on their new record, their first since 2008's The Sound of Madness.
6. Linkin Park - "Waiting for the End"
"Waiting for the End" peaked at No. 2. This week, the Linkin Park track stays at No. 6 for a second straight week. The band will be heading to Europe for a tour starting June 11.
5. The Black Keys - "Tighten Up"
"Tighten Up" holds at No. 5 for a second week in a row. The Black Keys will be headlining Milwaukee's Summerfest on July 6 ... and they'll be doing it with another band that's coming up on our chart.
4. Mumford & Sons - "The Cave"
After zooming up the charts the last few weeks, "The Cave" holds steady at No. 4 for a second week. It's pretty remarkable that a folk-rock group have managed to put not one but two singles into the Top 10 of the Rock chart.
3. Rise Against - "Help Is on the Way"
"Help Is on the Way" is the first single from Rise Against's new album, Endgame. This week, the cut stays stuck at No. 3 for a second week.
2. Cage the Elephant - "Shake Me Down"
Cage the Elephant, the band that will be headlining Summerfest with the Black Keys, sits at No. 2 for a third straight week with "Shake Me Down." The first cut off Thank You Happy Birthday had been No. 1 on our chart for two weeks.
1. Foo Fighters - "Rope"
For a third straight week, "Rope" is No. 1 on our chart. Foo Fighters will be doing a quick U.S. tour in May that will begin about a month after their much-anticipated new album, Wasting Light, hits stores.
