Did you really like the songs that were in last week's Top 10 of the Billboard Rock Songs chart? Then, good news: They're all back this week. But the real story is that one particular single has just made chart history. Scroll down to find out which one.
10. Sick Puppies - "Riptide"
Sick Puppies' "Riptide" just keeps going with the flow. After two weeks at No. 10, it moved up to No. 9. This week, the Tri-Polar track slides back to No. 10.
9. The Black Keys - "Howlin' for You"
After peaking at No. 5, "Howlin' for You" is in free fall. The Black Keys single tumbles three spots this week.
8. Incubus - "Adolescents"
Incubus had moved up to No. 5 last week with "Adolescents," but now they've hit a major snag: The first single from If Not Now, When? drops to No. 8 this week.
7. Foster the People - "Pumped Up Kicks"
Foster the People's full-length debut, Torches, came out May 23, and this week "Pumped Up Kicks" is one of our two high-risers, moving up three spots.
6. Death Cab for Cutie - "You Are a Tourist"
"You Are a Tourist" ascends one place this week. Death Cab for Cutie will be playing the Sasquatch Music Festival on May 28.
5. Cage the Elephant - "Shake Me Down"
This week's other high-riser is a bit of a shock since it's a song that seemed to be on its way out of the Top 10. Nonetheless, Cage the Elephant's "Shake Me Down" bounces up three spots to No. 5.
4. Mumford & Sons - "The Cave"
Mumford & Sons keep hangin' around: For a fifth week in a row, "The Cave" sits at No. 4.
3. Rise Against - "Help Is on the Way"
Rise Against is at No. 3 for a second straight week with "Help Is on the Way." Over the last two-and-a-half months, the Endgame track has never been lower than No. 4 on our list, although it never did hit No. 1.
2. Seether - "Country Song"
I actually think there are better potential singles on Holding Onto Strings Better Left to Fray than "Country Song," but listeners love it. For a second straight week, the Seether cut sits at No. 2.
1. Foo Fighters - "Rope"
Foo Fighters make it a lucky 13 weeks in a row at No. 1 with "Rope." The first single off Wasting Light has now been at the top spot longer than any other track in the nearly two-year history of the Rock Songs chart. Congrats, fellas.
