On this week's Billboard Rock Songs chart, we have two new entries in the Top 10. Actually, only one of them is a new song: The other is a former No. 1 smash back for one more go-round.
10. Avenged Sevenfold - "So Far Away"
Avenged Sevenfold return to our countdown with "So Far Away," the latest single from last year's Nightmare. Their previous hit, "Nightmare," got as high as No. 3 on the Rock Songs chart.
9. The Black Keys - "Howlin' for You"
Welcome back, Black Keys. After exiting the Top 10 more than a month ago, "Howlin' for You" makes a strong comeback, landing at No. 9.
8. Incubus - "Adolescents"
"Adolescents," the new single from Incubus, drops two spots to No. 8. The band's new album, If Not Now, When?, arrives July 12.
7. Sixx:A.M. - "Lies of the Beautiful People"
Very slowly, Sixx:A.M. are moving up our chart. "Lies of the Beautiful People" inches up one spot to No. 7.
6. Death Cab for Cutie - "You Are a Tourist"
The cab is running out of gas. "You Are a Tourist" from Death Cab for Cutie is this week's big dropper, falling three spots to No. 6.
5. Coldplay - "Every Teardrop Is a Waterfall"
Although they're one of the world's most popular and acclaimed bands, Coldplay have hit a snag on our chart. "Every Teardrop Is a Waterfall" is stalled at No. 5 for a second week.
4. Foo Fighters - "Walk"
Foo Fighters have not one but two songs in the Top Four. "Walk" rises three places, making it this week's high climber.
3. Foster the People - "Pumped Up Kicks"
Foster the People have the No. 1 Alternative Song in the land with their smash "Pumped Up Kicks." On the Rock Songs chart, they're not quite as high, but they're getting close: This week, they move up one spot to No. 3.
2. Seether - "Country Song"
Holding Onto Strings Better Left to Fray's first single, "Country Song," is at No. 2 for an eighth straight week. Seether worked with veteran producer Brendan O'Brien for the first time on the new record.
1. Foo Fighters - "Rope"
Make it 19 weeks in a row at No. 1 for "Rope." Foo Fighters continue to show no signs of slowing down, although "Walk" is getting dangerously close to the top spot. Will one Foo track unseat the other?
