The big news on this week's Billboard Rock Songs chart is the song that isn't in the Top 10. For the first time since early September, "Say You'll Haunt Me," the lead single off Stone Sour's Audio Secrecy, is nowhere to be found on our countdown. As for who's No. 1, well, there's no surprise there.
10. Mumford & Sons - "Little Lion Man"
After falling out of the Top 10 last week, Mumford & Sons return, landing at No. 10. "Little Lion Man" peaked at No. 3.
9. Florence and The Machine - "Dog Days Are Over"
Rising one spot this week is Florence and the Machine and their song "Dog Days Are Over. The video for this track was nominated last year for Best Rock Video at the MTV Video Music Awards.
8. Three Days Grace - "World So Cold"
After falling four spots last week, Three Days Grace move up a place this week. The band will start a North American tour in March.
7. Disturbed - "The Animal"
Disturbed, do you want the good news or the bad news first? Good news is that "Animal" enjoyed gains in sales and airplay this week. The bad news is that your latest single off Asylum still dropped a notch this week.
6. My Chemical Romance - "Sing"
My Chemical Romance's "Sing" got as high as No. 5 on our chart. This week, they slide back a spot. Is this a temporary blip, or are the modern-rockers on their way out?
5. Alter Bridge - "Isolation"
Last week, "Isolation," the latest single from Alter Bridge, was our highest debut. This week, the track moves up two more notches.
4. Neon Trees - "Animal"
Well, this is a surprise: The week's highest climber is also the oldest song on our chart. In its 42nd week, Neon Trees' "Animal" jumps up four spots to No. 4. This is the highest the song's been in more than two months.
3. Linkin Park - "Waiting for the End"
Linkin Park had been at No. 2 for seven straight weeks. This week, they slip a spot with "Waiting for the End."
2. Cage the Elephant - "Shake Me Down"
On their fourth try, Cage the Elephant finally leapfrog over Linkin Park, as "Shake Me Down" moves up from No. 3.
1. The Black Keys - "Tighten Up"
"Tighten Up" will be battling it out for some Grammys, but on our chart the Black Keys are the clear winners yet again. For an 11th week, the Brothers single claims the top spot.
