This week's Billboard Rock Songs chart offers no debuts, so the real drama is whether or not anyone could dislodge Linkin Park from the top spot. Scroll down to learn the answer.
10. Neon Trees - "Animal"
For the second straight week, Neon Trees hold down the fort at No. 10. Their debut album, Habits, came out in March.
9. Cage the Elephant - "In One Ear"
"In One Ear" remains No. 1 on the Alternative Songs chart, but the Cage the Elephant track continues its tumble down our chart, dropping a notch to No. 9.
8. Five Finger Death Punch - "Bad Company"
Five Finger Death Punch have concluded their tour of duty at this summer's Rockstar Mayhem Festival, but their latest single, "Bad Company," isn't going anywhere. In its second week in the Top 10, it rises a notch to No. 8.
7. Phoenix - "Lisztomania"
Phoenix's "Lisztomania" is probably the most insanely catchy single in our Top 10. (Seriously, try getting it out of your head once you hear it.) The Wolfgang Amadeus Phoenix opening track holds steady at No. 7.
6. Rise Against - "Savior"
Rise Against spend a second straight week at No. 6 with "Savior." They'll be playing Seattle's Bumbershoot festival in early September with Hole, Bob Dylan, Weezer and dozens of other acts.
5. Avenged Sevenfold - "Nightmare"
The Rockstar Uproar Festival has gotten underway, featuring Avenged Sevenfold as one of the headliners. The title track off Nightmare holds at No. 5 after peaking at No. 4 a couple weeks ago.
4. Shinedown - "The Crow & the Butterfly"
Shinedown are finally starting to falter on the charts with "The Crow & the Butterfly," dropping two places to No. 4 this week. They're currently wrapping up their Carnival of Madness tour.
3. The Dirty Heads Featuring Rome - "Lay Me Down"
"Lay Me Down" hangs on to No. 3 for a second straight week. With summer ending and kids heading back to school, it'll be interesting to see if this Dirty Heads beach jam will be able to stay high on the charts.
2. Disturbed - "Another Way to Die"
1. Linkin Park - "The Catalyst"
Linkin Park made chart history last week by landing their single, "The Catalyst," at No. 1 in its first week. Well, I guess the guys liked the view at the top because they aren't budging one bit. Enjoying a second week at No. 1, the opening single from A Thousand Suns may be the only thing that keeps Disturbed from grabbing the top spot.
