There's a lot of activity on this week's Billboard Rock Songs chart: We have three debuts and a brand new No. 1. Plus, some chart history was made this week. All the details are below...

10. Neon Trees - "Animal"

The Utah modern-rock quartet Neon Trees make their Top 10 debut with "Animal," the first single off their first album, Habits. They'll be touring with 30 Seconds to Mars starting in September.

9. Five Finger Death Punch - "Bad Company"

Five Finger Death Punch crack the Top 10 this week with "Bad Company," their cover of the song from 1970s arena-rockers Bad Company. It's off their 2009 album, War Is the Answer.

8. Cage the Elephant - "In One Ear"

After peaking at No. 3, "In One Ear" continues its slow tumble down the chart. Still, Cage the Elephant probably aren't too sad: The track remains No. 1 on the Alternative Songs chart.

7. Phoenix - "Lisztomania"

Phoenix fall two notches this week with "Lisztomania" off Wolfgang Amadeus Phoenix.

6. Rise Against - "Savior"

After four weeks camped out at No. 10, the punk band Rise Against motor up four spots to No. 6. "Savior" has been out as a single for an astounding 60 weeks.

5. Avenged Sevenfold - "Nightmare"

Avenged Sevenfold slip a notch this week to No. 5. They'll be heading out on the Rockstar Uproar Festival starting August 17.

4. Disturbed - "Another Way to Die"

Asylum hits stores at the end of August, and surely Disturbed are hoping it will be their fourth straight album to go to No. 1. In the meantime, the first single, "Another Way to Die," retreats one spot this week.

3. The Dirty Heads Featuring Rome - "Lay Me Down"

Before this summer, Rome Ramirez was best known as the lead singer of Sublime With Rome, but his appearance on the Dirty Heads' "Lay Me Down" has brought him a much higher level of visibility. The track falls one spot to No. 3 after landing at No. 1 a few weeks ago.

2. Shinedown - "The Crow & the Butterfly"

The latest single off The Sound of Madness hasn't been lower than No. 2 on the Rock Songs chart for the last six weeks. A pretty impressive feat, although I'm sure Shinedown are anxious to get back to No. 1 soon.

1. Linkin Park - "The Catalyst"

This week, Linkin Park achieved something no other act has in the 14-month history of the Rock Songs chart: They landed at No. 1 in their very first week. "The Catalyst," off the forthcoming A Thousand Suns, is a high-energy, vaguely apocalyptic song that finds the band mixing electronic instrumentation with rock conventions. Clearly, a lot of fans loved what Linkin Park came up with.
