This week's Billboard Rock Songs chart features only eight artists in the Top 10. How can that be? Because two bands show up twice, a testament to their popularity.
10. The Black Keys - "Howlin' For You"
This week's only debut is from the Black Keys. "Howlin' for You" is featured in the new movie Limitless, and this week it lands at No. 10 on our chart. This won't be the last time you see this band in our countdown.
9. Mumford & Sons - "Little Lion Man"
"Little Lion Man" keeps hanging around in the Top 10, even though it does fall one spot this week. Mumford & Sons are one of three acts in our Top 10 that will be playing Coachella.
8. Shinedown - "Diamond Eyes (Boom-Lay Boom-Lay Boom)"
After five weeks at No. 7, "Diamond Eyes" moves down one spot to No. 8. Shinedown have responded to the earthquake and tsunami in Japan by making an acoustic version of "Shed Some Light" available for download, with the money going toward the relief effort.
7. Seether - "Country Song"
This week's countdown doesn't have a lot of movement, with the exception of Seether, who bolt up three spots with "Country Song." Their new album, Holding Onto Strings Better Left to Fray, hits stores May 17.
6. Linkin Park - "Waiting for the End"
"Waiting for the End" stays at No. 6 for a fourth week. Linkin Park's European tour starts June 12.
5. The Black Keys - "Tighten Up"
For a fourth straight week, "Tighten Up" sits at No. 5. This is the first time the Black Keys have had two songs in our Top 10.
4. Rise Against - "Help Is on the Way"
"Help Is on the Way" got as high as No. 3, but for a second straight week the lead single from Endgame resides at No. 4. Rise Against will start a North American tour on April 5 in Las Vegas.
3. Mumford & Sons - "The Cave"
Mumford & Sons make their second appearance in this week's Top 10. "The Cave" sits at No. 3 for a second week, which is also as high as the band's "Little Lion Man" managed to get on our chart.
2. Cage the Elephant - "Shake Me Down"
"Shake Me Down" has been No. 2 for five weeks now, a decent consolation prize after grabbing the top spot for two weeks previous to that. Honestly, if it wasn't for the popularity of our current No. 1, you'd have to think Cage the Elephant would still rule our chart.
1. Foo Fighters - "Rope"
Nothing can stop "Rope." The Foo Fighters cut is at No. 1 for a fifth week in a row. Foo Fighters: Back and Forth, a documentary about the making of their new album, Wasting Light, will play in select theaters on April 5.
