4. Train - "50 Ways to Say Goodbye" (Purchase/Download)
5. Mumford & Sons - "I Will Wait" (Purchase/Download)
The radically readjusted Rock Songs chart kicked out its former champion, "I Will Wait" from Mumford & Sons, and welcomed a new No. 1, fun.'s "Some Nights." The title track from the New York trio's breakthrough album has been certified platinum, and it beat out Alex Clare's "Too Close" for the top spot. "I Will Wait" fell all the way to No. 5, but the folk-rockers need not fret: They dominated several of our other charts this week.

3. Three Days Grace - Transit of Venus (Purchase/Download)
4. Van Morrison - Born to Sing: No Plan B (Purchase/Download)
5. Green Day - Uno! (Purchase/Download)
Babel is the bestselling album in the country, so it makes sense that it would also top the Rock Albums chart. Behind it on the countdown is The 2nd Law, the latest release from Muse. You couldn't ask for a more different set of sounds than with these two records: Babel is a comforting, folk-leaning collection, while The 2nd Law is a bombastic, sonically ambitious modern-rock casserole. The rest of the Top 5 offers an equally diverse mix of sounds, whether it's the blues and soul of Van Morrison, the hard rock of Three Days Grace, or the punk-pop of Uno!
Alternative Songs Chart
1. Mumford & Sons - "I Will Wait" (Purchase/Download)2. Muse - "Madness" (Purchase/Download)
3. The Lumineers - "Ho Hey" (Purchase/Download)
4. The Black Keys - "Little Black Submarines" (Purchase/Download)
5. Alex Clare - "Too Close" (Purchase/Download)
It's important to point out that the Alternative Songs chart didn't go through a major change like the Rock Songs chart, which explains why the top tracks didn't change significantly. Still, the new No. 1 is "I Will Wait," which replaced Muse's "Madness" at the top of the chart. The Lumineers are the other big folk-rock group right now in the country, and their smash "Ho Hey," which has been certified gold, hangs out at No. 3. And keep an eye out for "Little Black Submarines": The latest hit from the Black Keys' El Camino is currently sitting at No. 4.

4. Green Day - Uno! (Purchase/Download)
5. No Doubt - Push and Shove (Purchase/Download)
You'll probably notice that the top of the Alternative Albums chart isn't radically different than that of the Rock Albums chart. The one wrinkle is the presence of No Doubt, whose Push and Shove is the band's first studio album since 2001. By the way, if you're looking for more proof about how beloved Mumford & Sons are right now, their first album, Sigh No More, currently resides at No. 7 on the Alternative Albums chart. (It's No. 9 on the Rock Albums chart.)

3. As I Lay Dying - Awakened (Purchase/Download)
4. Linkin Park - Living Things (Purchase/Download)
5. ZZ Top - La Futura (Purchase/Download)
The volume gets cranked a little louder for the Hard Rock Albums chart, where Transit of Venus rules the roost. At No. 2 is The Connection, the most recent record from Papa Roach. And you have to love a chart that makes room for both Linkin Park and ZZ Top.
