The big noise on this week's Billboard Rock Charts comes from an artist who died almost 45 years ago. (In fact, if he was alive right now, he'd be 70.) He may be long gone, but fans still can't get enough of Jimi Hendrix.

Rock Songs Chart

2. Imagine Dragons - "Radioactive" (Purchase/Download)
3. Mumford & Sons - "I Will Wait" (Purchase/Download)
4. Imagine Dragons - "It's Time" (Purchase/Download)
5. Of Monsters and Men - "Little Talks" (Purchase/Download)

"Ho Hey" just keeps going and going: For a 15th straight week, the Lumineers rule the Rock Songs chart. But that reign could be threatened by Imagine Dragons, whose "Radioactive" moves up from No. 3 to No. 2. (The band's other big single, "It's Time," remains at No. 4 after peaking at No. 3.)

Rock Airplay Chart

1. Imagine Dragons - "Radioactive"

3. Muse - "Madness" (Purchase/Download)
4. Atlas Genius - "Trojans" (Purchase/Download)
5. fun. - "Carry On" (Purchase/Download)

After dethroning Muse's "Madness" last week, Imagine Dragons' "Radioactive" remains the biggest hit on the radio for a second straight week. What else is new on the Rock Airplay chart? Well, Atlas Genius jump up one spot to No. 4 with "Trojans," and fun.'s "Carry On" cracks the Top Five, landing at No. 5.

5. fun. - Some Nights (Purchase/Download)

Hendrix takes the top spot on the Rock Albums chart with People, Hell and Angels, a collection of songs he was working on in the late 1960s. (He died in September 1970.) No member of any band in the rest of the Top Five was even alive then.

Alternative Songs Chart

1. Imagine Dragons - "Radioactive"
2. Of Monsters and Men - "Mountain Sound"
3. Silversun Pickups - "The Pit" (Purchase/Download)
4. Muse - "Madness"
5. The Lumineers - "Stubborn Love" (Purchase/Download)

For a fourth consecutive week, "Radioactive" grabs the No. 1 spot on the Alternative Songs chart. Of Monsters and Men stay glued at No. 2 with "Mountain Sound," but Silversun Pickups continue their slow climb, as "The Pit" rises from No. 4 to No. 3. Interestingly, a different Lumineers single cracks the Top Five on this chart: "Stubborn Love" jumps up a spot to No. 5.

Alternative Albums Chart

1. Mumford & Sons - Babel
2. Imagine Dragons - Night Visions
3. The Lumineers - The Lumineers
4. fun. - Some Nights
5. Alabama Shakes - Boys & Girls (Purchase/Download)

Last week, Amok debuted at No. 1 on the Alternative Albums chart. But now that the Atoms for Peace album has fallen to No. 7, that allows Babel to regain the top spot. Reentering the Top Five is Boys & Girls. The gold-certified 2012 disc from Alabama Shakes sits at No. 5.

Hard Rock Albums Chart

1. Jimi Hendrix - People, Hell and Angels
2. Soilwork - The Living Infinite (Purchase/Download)
3. Red - Release the Panic (Purchase/Download)
4. Bullet for My Valentine - Temper Temper (Purchase/Download)
5. Buckcherry - Confessions (Purchase/Download)

After four months of residing in the Top Five of the Hard Rock Albums chart, Led Zeppelin's Celebration Day plummets from No. 1 to No. 6. A contemporary of Led Zep's, Hendrix, takes over the top spot. Our other new entry is Soilwork: Their double album The Living Infinite hits No. 2.
