The winter doldrums are profoundly affecting the Billboard Rock Charts. With no new albums in the marketplace, fans are sticking to reliable favorites. And that means that 2012's U.K. folk-rock sensation are as big as ever.

Rock Songs Chart

1. The Lumineers - "Ho Hey" (Purchase/Download)
2. Phillip Phillips - "Home" (Purchase/Download)
3. fun. - "Some Nights" (Purchase/Download)
4. Ed Sheeran - "The A Team" (Purchase/Download)
5. Imagine Dragons - "It's Time" (Purchase/Download)

For a sixth week in a row, "Ho Hey" is the king of the Rock Songs chart. The Lumineers sit atop a Top Five that hasn't changed a lick from last week.

Rock Airplay Chart

1. Muse - "Madness" (Purchase/Download)
2. Mumford & Sons - "I Will Wait" (Purchase/Download)
3. The Black Keys - "Little Black Submarines" (Purchase/Download)
4. The Lumineers - "Ho Hey" (Purchase/Download)
5. Imagine Dragons - "It's Time" (Purchase/Download)

"Madness" is at No. 1 on the Rock Airplay chart for a fifth time in six weeks. The big hit from Muse's The 2nd Law is up for the Best Rock Song Grammy, while the disc is in the running for Best Rock Album. The only new entry in the Top Five is actually an old song: "It's Time" moves up from No. 7 to No. 5. (It had previously gotten as high as No. 4 on the chart.)

Rock Albums Chart

1. Mumford & Sons - Babel (Purchase/Download)
2. Phillip Phillips - The World From the Side of the Moon (Purchase/Download)
3. The Lumineers - The Lumineers (Purchase/Download)
4. Imagine Dragons - Night Visions (Purchase/Download)
5. Of Monsters and Men - My Head Is an Animal
(Purchase/Download)

Mumford & Sons' Babel, which was recently certified platinum, retakes the top spot on the Rock Albums chart, shoving aside our previous No. 1, Night Visions from Imagine Dragons. Four of the albums in the Top Five have previously ruled this chart. The only one that hasn't? The Lumineers, which got as high as No. 2.

Alternative Songs Chart

1. Muse - "Madness" (Purchase/Download)
2. Mumford & Sons - "I Will Wait" (Purchase/Download)
3. The Black Keys - "Little Black Submarines" (Purchase/Download)
4. The Lumineers - "Ho Hey" (Purchase/Download)
5. Atlas Genius - "Trojans" (Purchase/Download)

"Madness" has been at No. 1 since the end of October on the Alternative Songs chart. The last song to be on top other than Muse is the track that's currently at No. 2, "I Will Wait" from Mumford & Sons. Just bubbling under the Top Five is Imagine Dragons' "Radioactive," Night Visions' second single.

Alternative Albums Chart

1. Mumford & Sons - Babel (Purchase/Download)
2. The Lumineers - The Lumineers (Purchase/Download)
3. Imagine Dragons - Night Visions (Purchase/Download)
4. Of Monsters and Men - My Head Is an Animal
(Purchase/Download)
5. fun. - Some Nights (Purchase/Download)

Babel is back on top of the Alternative Albums chart as well, holding off The Lumineers. Just missing the Top Five is Mumford & Sons' debut record, Sigh No More, which has been on the charts for 138 weeks and gone double-platinum.

Hard Rock Albums Chart

1. Led Zeppelin - Celebration Day (Purchase/Download)
2. Linkin Park - Living Things (Purchase/Download)
3. Three Days Grace - Transit of Venus (Purchase/Download)
4. Deftones - Koi No Yokan (Purchase/Download)
5. Soundgarden - King Animal (Purchase/Download)

For a seventh straight week, Led Zeppelin are the champs on the Hard Rock Albums chart. Their live album Celebration Day beat back a challenge from Linkin Park's summer release, Living Things. And because I love the album so much, I'll point out that Koi No Yokan is back in the Top Five, hanging out at No. 4.
