With no significant new rock albums in the marketplace, this week's Billboard Rock Charts don't boast many changes from previous weeks'. But as we get closer to the end of the year, one of 2012's hottest rookie acts is only further cementing its popularity among rock fans.

Rock Songs Chart

1. The Lumineers - "Ho Hey" (Purchase/Download)

The "Some Nights" kids in fun. had been ruling the Rock Songs chart for eight consecutive weeks. But the Lumineers finally dethrone fun., as "Ho Hey" moves up a notch to No. 1. The Denver trio's breakthrough single was recently certified platinum. ("Ho Hey" also just snagged the top spot on the Rock Digital Songs chart.)

In other news, the third single from the the Black Keys' El Camino, "Little Black Submarines," moves up a notch to No. 3. The duo are now in the running for Album of the Year at the Grammys.

For a second straight week, Phillip Phillips triumphs over Kid Rock, as The World From the Side of the Moon outlasts Rebel Soul on the Rock Albums chart. Led Zeppelin's concert album Celebration Day drops a notch to No. 4, while The Lumineers returns to the Top Five.

After five weeks, Trans-Siberian Orchestra are stubbornly hanging on in the Top Five of the Hard Rock Albums chart. Dreams of Fireflies (On a Christmas Night) moves up from No. 3 to No. 2, although it couldn't evict Celebration Day from No. 1. King Animal sits tight at No. 4 for a second week, while Koi No Yokan reenters our countdown at No. 5.
