Radiohead leader Thom Yorke has been spending a little time with Atoms for Peace, his side band with Red Hot Chili Peppers bassist Flea. Now, that group has released its debut, Amok, but anybody hoping for a cool mixture of those two groups' sounds will be disappointed. Instead, Amok very much carries on the vibe of Radiohead's recent efforts, focusing on moody, despondent electronic rock that possesses none of the laid-back Southern California cool of the Peppers. But for Yorke's fans, that may not be a problem.
