Band of Horses will be one of the bands playing Coachella this year, but the bearded rockers announced today that they're going to be touring in addition to those festival dates.
The quintet will get rolling on April 8 in Denver, a few days before their first of two back-to-back Friday appearances at Coachella. They'll also be hitting parts of New Mexico, Louisiana, Arizona, Texas and other places in the Southeast.
During these dates, Band of Horses will be supporting their latest record, September's Mirage Rock, a fine collection of indie-rock gems.

My friend recently introduced me to both Band of Horses and Taddy Porter this year. Ive been hooked to both ever since. I enjoy seeing these two bands giving rock music its dignity back.
