Radiohead's Next Album Will Get Started This Fall

Last summer, Radiohead worked on new music, although no one was sure what it was for. Hanging out at Jack White's studio in Nashville, the band finished at least one track, providing no information if it was the beginning of a new album or just a one-off track. Recently, though, Radiohead have started to reveal more of their thought process about their follow-up to The King of Limbs.

While frontman Thom Yorke busies himself with the release of his side band Atoms for Peace's debut record, Radiohead bassist Colin Greenwood has been talking about new Radiohead music. Rolling Stone reports that Greenwood told the BBC, "We're taking some time out whilst people are doing some other stuff, doing their own things, and the plan is to get back together again [at the] end of the summer." All signs, at least according to a separate interview Greenwood gave Mail & Guardian, indicate that it'll be September at the earliest when the band will be able to focus on a new record. If that's the case, it seems like my Most Anticipated Rock Albums of 2014 column already has one must-hear disc on it.
