I didn't make any predictions in advance of Sunday's Grammys, but if I had been a betting man, I never would have guessed that Halestorm would win Best Hard Rock/Metal Performance for "Love Bites (So Do I)." They were the young upstarts in a category that featured legends like Megadeth. They seemed like long shots.
Well, imagine my surprise when Halestorm ended up taking home the prize. (Megadeth frontman Dave Mustaine even sent out a very gracious tweet congratulating them, which inspired Lzzy Hale to tweet back in similarly gracious fashion.)
If you don't know much about Halestorm, it's time to correct that oversight.
