On Monday, Yorke tweeted, "Me & Nigel out & about with two turntables & a microphone - London 22feb, Berlin 8march, NY 14march." "Nigel" is Nigel Godrich, the longtime Radiohead producer who's also a member of Atoms for Peace. Yorke hasn't announced exactly where in each city he and Godrich are going to perform, but at the moment, these are the only public appearances confirmed for Yorke.
Of course, Yorke has done some DJing in the past, and it's often been connected to a new album. My hunch is that Atoms for Peace won't go on the road until after April 21 at the earliest. The reason is because Flea, who plays bass in the band, will be appearing at Coachella this year with his regular group, Red Hot Chili Peppers. Once those April dates are over, Flea will have more time to focus on Atoms for Peace. Hopefully, so will the rest of his bandmates.
