The Black Crowes had an eventful 2010, releasing Croweology and putting together a massive tour. The reason for all the activity was that the band would be going on hiatus afterward. When asked about the length of this hiatus, frontman Chris Robinson said, it might be "[t]wo years, five years, 10 years -- you never know when you jump into the void." Turns out it's only going to be about two years.
The Southern rockers will be getting back on the road in the spring, starting with some U.K. dates in March before returning to the U.S. in April.
At this point, there's no word about the band putting out new music -- their last studio album of new material was 2009's Before the Frost ... Until the Freeze -- but possibly a new disc could be in store as well.
