You have to hand it to the Lumineers. A year ago, no one knew who they were, but in 2012 the Denver trio became one of the biggest stories in rock music, even though they're a folk group. Their hit "Ho Hey" has been inescapable on radio, and their self-titled debut is a strong seller. On this week's Billboard Rock Charts, the Lumineers appear on five of the six individual charts. (The only one they don't, Hard Rock Albums, isn't a big surprise.) In 2013, other bands may consider picking up the mandolin if they want to capture audiences' hearts. Check out my rundown of this week's Rock Charts to see where your favorite tunes and albums ranked.
