For a long time, Stone Sour seemed like just another side project. Sure, they made good albums, but everybody knew that Slipknot was Corey Taylor's "real" band -- Stone Sour was just a diversion, right? That misconception has been corrected in the last few years thanks to Stone Sour's superb recent records, Audio Secrecy and this month's House of Gold & Bones - Part 1. So it seemed like an appropriate time to dive into this band's history.
