Now that Independence Day is in our rearview mirror, perhaps it's a good time to look back at the first half of 2012 and talk about the great rock albums we've heard this year. With that in mind, I've made a list of the strongest '12 discs, and I've come up with six I think are definitely worth hearing. Included on it is Amaryllis, the latest record from Shinedown. But what's the best album of the year so far?
