The side project released a trailer right before Labor Day weekend to give fans a taste of what to expect, although no release date is mentioned. However, we know that Talib Kweli and Curren$y (among other rappers) will be part of the project, which is tentatively being titled BlakRoc 2.
This isn't the only Black Keys music coming our way soon. The band will be releasing their follow-up to Brothers presumably by the end of the year. No idea yet which record to expect first, but either way the duo's rising profile (thanks to the success of Brothers) will give these albums a heightened visibility. When BlakRoc dropped, it was something of an under-the-radar project. That won't happen with the sequel.
