Hollywood Undead Releasing 'American Tragedy' March 15

By January 15, 2011

Follow me on:

Hollywood Undead will be releasing their full-length follow-up to 2008's Swan Songs on March 15: American Tragedy. If the first single, "Hear Me Now," is any indication, the new disc will again be a blending of hip-hop and rock shot through with a bratty, urgent sensibility.

At a time when rap-rock lacks the popularity it enjoyed even 10 years ago, the masked members of Hollywood Undead have emerged as the keepers of the flame. Swan Songs went gold, thanks in part to its ubiquitous single "Undead" and also because the Los Angeles group toured ferociously to support their debut. Before American Tragedy drops, they'll be out on the road again starting January 20 as part of the "Nightmare After Christmas" tour.

Update: American Tragedy will now be released April 5.
