Beady Eye is the name of the band that singer Liam Gallagher formed after Oasis folded in the summer of 2009. For most of this year, the group have been steadily working on their debut record, and now we know its name, its track list, and when it will be coming out in the U.K.

According to Spin, the record will be called Different Gear, Still Speeding, an appropriate name for an album that will find Gallagher moving out of the shadow of his songwriting brother Noel, who was responsible for so many of Oasis' best songs. The album will be released in the U.K. on February 28 and in the U.S. on March 1.

Of Different Gear's 13 cuts, the only one we've heard so far is "Bring the Light," a rollicking blast of Jerry Lee Lewis-style rock. The song we're most interested in checking out next? The track called "Beatles and Stones." Liam may have left Oasis behind, but it appears that his love of the Fab Four remains constant.

Different Gear, Still Speeding Track List:

  • "Four Letter Word"
  • "Millionaire"
  • "The Roller"
  • "Beatles and Stones"
  • "Wind Up Dream"
  • "Bring the Light"
  • "For Anyone"
  • "Kill for a Dream"
  • "Standing on the Edge of the Noise"
  • "Wigwam"
  • "Three Ring Circus"
  • "The Beat Goes On"
  • "The Morning Son"
