Dave Matthews Band will be making their fifth appearance on Saturday Night Live -- and their first in six years -- when they serve as the musical guest for the show November 21.
Actor Joseph Gordon-Levitt will be the host, and the pairing is unusual since neither the actor nor the band have anything new that they're promoting. DMB's latest album, Big Whiskey and the GrooGrux King, came out in June, while Gordon-Levitt's star turn in (500) Days of Summer hit theaters a month later. Still, the band have finished touring the U.S. for the time being -- Matthews will be doing three acoustic performances with his buddy Tim Reynolds in Vegas in the middle of December -- so this'll be the last chance to see the full band for quite some time.
