Dead Weather Tour Dates

The Dead Weather’s debut album, Horehound, comes out July 14, and the band will be hitting the road the day before to start a North American tour that runs until the end of August. The band – which is the latest side project from the head of the White Stripes, Jack White – features Alison Mosshart (from the blues-rock group the Kills) on vocals, Jack Lawrence (from White’s other side project, the Raconteurs) on bass, and Dean Fertita (from Queens of the Stone Age) on guitar. If you ever wondered what the White Stripes would sound like if White was on drums, the Dead Weather will provide you that opportunity – he’s behind the skins for this murky batch of blues and hard rock songs.

Speaking of Horehound, you can listen to the album in its entirety through the band’s iLike page, but you’d better hurry – the free preview will run out sometime Thursday morning.
