U2 Set for Worldwide Stadium Tour
Monday March 9, 2009
To support No Line on the Horizon, U2 will be embarking on a stadium tour that will feature an in-the-round stage format. The tour begins June 30 in Barcelona, with the North American leg kicking off September 12 in Chicago. U2 have set up a separate website to offer a preview of what they’re describing as an “innovative 360° design which affords an unobstructed view for the audience.”
What else can we tell you about this forthcoming tour? The promising new group Glasvegas will be opening at some shows, although, alas, it’s not clear if it will be here or elsewhere on the tour.
